About Us
The Logan Community Development Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. It was organized in 2005 by a group of proactive citizens desiring to provide a tool for the community to utilize for development purposes. With the organizational group starting through the a development committee of the City of Logan, it progressed into the formation of its own entity. Its organizational papers and official designation was completed in 2006.
During this organizational period, the members of the board ambitiously started projects that were needed in the community. Working in colaboration with the City of Logan, gathering ideas from the Discover Phillips County initiative, and initial financial support from Phillips County Economic Development, the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, and other gracious donors and volunteers, the foundation has established a strong foothold on assisting with progressive and positive change for the Logan Area needs.
